Be on time

Dress appropriately.

Smile and maintain eye contact
A cheerful outward appearance is recommended, given that none of us want to be surrounded by continually dour faces. Don’t overdo it though. Smile, don’t grin. When you are responding to a question from a specific interview panel member, maintain eye contact. Be sure to scan and include the entire interview panel though, even if only one of them is directing the questions. Keeping your gaze on the floor or your nails during a job interview is not going to give a good impression.
